Change your password often.
Maintain a healthy dose of skepticism.
Always use a secure network. No coffee houses, your personal data can be stolen.
Make sure that you are using the most up-to-date Internet software
Don't reply to unsolicited messages ("spam") mail, or other harassing or offensive mail.
Always remember to sign out when you are done.
Don't share your password
Don't open attachements from people not your friend.
Have a virus protection program
Don't forward junk attachments. Chain letters are a great way to spread virus'
Have a couple email addresses. One for shopping and web site forms, and one for business, one for work
Email spam targets individual users with direct mail messages.
Use Bcc to send emails to several people without sharing their email addresses.
Do not use email to tease, or bully
Do not write angry or harassing emails. You can't get them back.
DON'T YELL!!!
